This pneumatic press brake is designed and built with quality and attention to details, offers versatility and economy. It performs numerous prototyping and production press brake functions including bending, flanging, hemming, flattening, staking, box forming and more
Positive ram stop - Adjustable stroke depth control is provided by the screw stop for precise repeatability. Raise the adjustable bed and shorten the ram stroke to maximize productivity while reducing air consumption and minimizing the pinch point for safer operation
Accommodate a wide variety of tooling - Adjustable die space handles numerous tool sets and reduces or eliminates the pinch point. Per OSHA guidelines, a die space gap of 1/4" or less is not a pinch point and provides the safest operation method. Loosen the bed and raise or lower it with the large bed elevating screws. Leveling of bed to ram is easily accomplished using this feature
Select the optimal speed - Ram speed control via an infinitely variable valve allows instant adjustment of air flow to the dual cylinders. A minimum setting creates a creep mode for setup, or select any other position to safely match ram speed with your job
Give the operator full command - Safety hooded foot pedal controls all ram motion. Fully depress control pedal for down stroke. Slightly release pedal to stop advancing the ram. Completely release pedal at any time and the counter-balanced ram automatically retracts to the top of the stroke. For added safety, the ram retracts if air supply is removed
Condition the air supply - Modular FRL unit is standard to condition air supply to pneumatic components for long life. The unit consists of an adjustable filter/regulator module with pressure gauge, adjustable flow lubricator module and a three-way lockable shut-off valve. The valve is vented to relieve downstream pressure in the off position per OSHA guidelines. Keyed padlock and lockout tag are included
Select the right tonnage for the job - Variable tonnage control provided through the modular filter/regulator/lubricator unit delivers twelve tons of ram force to form up to 3/8" at maximum pressure. Lower the pressure to suit the job, reduce air consumption and preserve tooling
Run without interruption - Requires minimal service. Designed for simplicity, there are few moving parts to wear out - no motor, clutch or brake to maintain or replace
Heavy duty ram gib brackets are formed, not welded. They are simple to adjust and provide years of service
All critical pivot points are heat treated and equipped with grease fittings. Special bushing material is engineered for high loads to support the rocking lever pivot shaft
Runs on compressed air, so it goes anywhere - No need to worry about 3-phase power or running new electrical lines. Installation is simple. It just needs an air line. 90 PSI gives rated tonnage, but it operates anywhere from 10 to 110 PSI. Includes quite, long-life, steel-reinforced cylinder bumpers

- An Acu-Rite® linear encoder detects position directly at the gauge bar ensuring positional accuracy regardless of servomechanism errors. Other manufacturers use a rotary encoder mounted on the
motor. This method only measures armature position. Any system backlash is not detected resulting in positional errors and poor repeatability
- Two rugged, flip finger assemblies with quick clamps, makes setups easy and fast without tools. Strong enough to handle the abuse of heavy material forming. High visibility scales aid positioning
- Gauge frames mount to the press brake side frames for stable operation. The rear of the side frames, not the bed, is the best location for repeatable performance in a precision gauging system. Utilizes
existing hole patterns in the housings for simple and fast in-field installation. Installation can be performed in less than two hours

Optional with two hand safety control
- This control keeps the operator's hands away from the point of operation without sacrificing complete foot pedal control. Both pushbuttons must be pressed and held for air to flow to the foot pedal.

Optional with segmented, safety clamp ram
- It holds safety or hook-tongue tooling while the clamp action design easily holds short tool segments. The flip lever, spring-loaded ram clamps are 5-1/2" long and mount on 6" centers. Safety or
hook-tongue tooling hooks into the clamps. When the clamps are loosened, the tooling cannot drop out of the ram thus eliminating a safety hazard and/or preventing tooling damage. Using safety tongue
tooling is particularly important when using long or tall tooling that is very heavy
Optional with safe, wide-base floor stand
- It is unique to the unit and is predrilled to accept the bolt hole mounting pattern. It is fully welded, reinforced and equipped with mounting feet to accommodate floor anchors or vibration mounting pads
Optional with front workpiece support table
- It is vertically adjustable and conveniently supports a supply of small workpieces to be bent. Measurement left to right is equal to the bed width and is 12" deep. The vertical adjustment allows its top
surface to be level with the tops of most bottom dies. This welded and reinforced support can also be used for clamping angle stops or other front positioning devices
Optional with additional tooling space side frames
- Increase tooling space by using taller side frames. Use with commercially available tool clamping systems, box forming punches or to accommodate the special, extra-tall tooling. Standard ram stroke
applies for the unit. Standard tooling can be used, but may require a ram spacer to take up the extra space
